Happy Birthday

Our own Jerry Bell was born on this day of 1943.

Had it not been for the expertise he gained, as Charlie 3 & Charlie 4, I may not have been able to celebrate my own birthdays since '67.

Many happy returns to Lt. Bell! Although I don't see him on the member list here yet, hopefully he'll see it when he gets hooked up.

Everyone aim toward Colorado and fire two illumination rounds, Detonate is having a birthday. May you have fat-free bacon & sausage to go with some cholesterol-free eggs (fresh, not powdered) and some calorie-free French Toast drowned with sugar-free syrup for breakfast.

How did you know what I am having for breakfast? I wish to report that as of today, I am down 52 lbs from where I was this time last year. My blood sugar, my cholesterol, and my blood pressure are all under control. I feel better than I have in years. It's a great day to be alive!!

Don't forget the decaf coffee to go with that feast Chris outlined for you, Floyd. I hope your day is a good one, with many more to follow.

A belated thanks to all you guys for the wishes for my own 67th. I wasn't checking in as often as I should and completely missed all those comments until this morning. It sure does a fellow good to know that such a great bunch is thinking of him. I'm sure Detonate 95 will agree with me.

Great job on the weight loss you have to proud of that. I storteed it last thursday so I have a ways to go.

It's not easy Obe, but you can do it. The hardest part is not getting frustrated when you hit a plateau. You may go several days without your weight dropping, and you think it's not working. But don't quit. It will come. Read labels on everything you eat. Nothing with sugar, nothing with high glycemic carbs. Lots of fresh veggies, lean meat. No bread, or other foods contaning refined flour. A little whole grain stuff is OK, but not much. No potatoes. Don't eat any vegetable that grows underground. And you must drink at least two full glasses of water every day. And absolutey no alcohol.
