Obama's speech on Iraq

I started to watch Obama's speech on Iraq last night but I had to stop in order to avoid throwing something at the TV. What an embarrassment! That speech wandered and failed to acknowledge those who contributed to the success. It was very obvious that he was very uncomfortable trying to talk of the mission's success and repeatedly changed the direction of the presentation. Maybe we are better off if he goes and plays golf everyday rather than opening his anti-American mouth and embarassing us. I knew it would be bad having him as president but I didn't think it was going to be this bad. I actually believe impeachment would be in order based on incompetance.

****** He at present cannot be Impeached , and it's not worth the National Agony involved even attempting it. Also despite what MANY f our Conservative bretheren think - he still has a Good 50/50 shot at Winning in 2012, and if the GOP actually takes Congress this November his odds might improve some.

What you are saying would be true based upon past history but this guy is quickly ticking off both sides so I do not see him winning in 2012. I do see a new progressive party splitting the socialist vote. The challenger could very possibly be our present Secretary of State.

***** Well, She certainly wants it HOWEVER fer besting him leaves one huge problem. The Solid 90% + Black Vote that has been Democratic since 1968 will go down quite a bit and that means a few States are lost - like Ohio, Wisconsin, Missouri, New Jersey possibly - throw in Pennsylvania and she'll get massacred Down South. In short unless he Voluntarily goes - She Can't Win.

I'm predicting that a new "moderate" Progressive Party will split out from the Democrat ranks. It will be made up of mostly white, college educated liberals who are not happy paying for a welfare state but at the same time want government controls. It certainly will split the left vote but that is going to take a hit anyway. The progressives will be focused on building a party a piece at a time and not on control of the country. It will be a home for left sided Republicans.

******* Well(?) Perhaps - but do not underestimate White Liberals. Just think about Chris Matthews and that "Feeling Up & Down his leg". These Guys & Gals are likely to Hang with Obama until the Last Dollar is wrung out of the private sector. Just think of Vermont and what it has evolved into - then there are the social issues like Same Sex Marriage and those who think as Barry does) that the USA and the Western world are mostly responsible for the World's problems for Millenia.
