****** MOH recipient David Dolby originally from Norristown,Pa. died in Seattle today at age 64. He was in the 1st Cav. Div. fairly early in the Vietnam War (5/66) and displayed extrodinary courage in salvaging the remnants of an ambushed platoon. He was barely 21 at the time and a SP4. He left the army years later as a SSG. His Medal was bestowed by Lyndon Johnson in early 1967.


***** This was on NBC earlier. There are a few websites outlining further details of the 5/21/66 action.
