Judge overturns gay marriage ban

A Federal judge has overturned California's Prop 8 ban on gay marriage---Listen, we are going to do whatever comes up on the the secular-socialist agenda and you will shut up and like it!!!! OVER MY DEAD BODY!!!

***** Certainly no surprise on this. The cutting edge in the Judges comments were rather heavy though. It will make it to the SCOTUS for sure hopefully in time for the 2012 Elections.

At least the judge left the ban in place pending the appeal. But that means it will got to the Federal Court of Appeals in California and we know their reputation. They will certainly uphold the ruling. Then on to the Supreme Court, which will probably chicken out and refuse to hear it, letting the ruling stand. So, once again, despite the fact that an overwhelming majority of California voters supported the measure, the will of the people will be thwarted. We have got to take our county back or we can look forward to a time when the will of the people will mean absolutely nothing. Given recent actions by this administration, maybe we are already there.

One thing that has been on my mind lately is, given the blatant disregard for the Constitution and the principles of a constitutional republic, I can see a mid term election being declared null and void if things go terribly wrong for the socialists. They will demand endless recounts and hold up seating any new members to Congress. I can see Obama declaring a national emergency as discontent spreads and by executive order keeping all incumbants in office. Under a national emergency certain tv and radio broadcasts could be found to be stirring up the populace and individuals could be brought in for questioning. This is not a far fetched dream, this is how bad a situation we find ourselves in.

If that happens, and it is possible, there will be a real revolution.

****** The Great Irony in this Gay Marriage controversy IS that by and large most of the Gay activist's are very secular & even irreligous.

****** They will be the catalyst in bringing on a Religous divide & conflict that has mostly been absent from the USA since it's inception BECAUSE the quiet intent is to go after the Church's - to make them heel and Marry Same Sex couples. Some will cave in short order , while others will be targeted for endless litigation & Gov't Harrasment.

***** Progressives such as the core group of posters at DebatePolitics claim this will never occur. That it is Right Wing paranoia. I stated that it was rather inevitable knowing Human Nature. The Activists will never be sataisfied, and therefore this is NOT about simply Rights.

***** Now it will take years and larger events might overshadow it - but no way small denominations like Unitarians, or some Episcopals or Reformed Jews give in on this without "wetting the appetite" of some to go after Baptists, Mormons and the RC Church despite it's hypocrisy. I suspect even now some are looking forward to it AND kndly remember in addition to like 20% + of RC Clergy being Gay( active or not) many - a probable Majority of Female Clergy ordained in either the Episcopal and Methodist Church's as well as smaller Christian units - are Lesbian - an no way will they be objective and as time passes they will defy their Religous superiors and bring on confrontation and litigation.
