The server they were hosted on crashed. They lost everything. Evidently they did not have any backups. They are currently trying to get started up on a new server, but it may be a while before it is up and running, and the message board will probably not be at the top of their list of priorities.

Yep, I'm already registered.

I don't know if the online registration will be back soon or not.

I started a new thread on this topic in "Discussions" but I have not figured out how to split a thread yet.

So lets keep this thread for forum rules discussion, and use the new thread for discussion of the server crash.

Also, please register. I am currently allowing guests to post, but I will probably change that to only allow members to post soon.

We don't have any Avatar Galleries. You can upload a file from your computer or from the web to be your avatar. Go to your profile and click on Avatar at the top of the page.

It's sort of crowded and the pictures are getting so small that they are losing quality. Let know if this one is good and I will send it to you in an email so you can put it on your hard drive and then upload to the forum as your avatar. If you still get the error message, I think Floyd will have to help you with that.

Chris, Juan's avatar was exactly the maximum size the forum will take, according to the settings. It would not load for me. I changed the size to one less pixel, horizontally and vertically, and it took it.

Thanks, Floyd, I'll keep that in mind. I knew the maximum limits you had set, and I knew Juan liked many elements so that was the reason I used the maximum space. Sorta hard to get a lot of graphics into a small space, even though it's much more generous than The Society's board. Certainly not the best quality, but it suits his service and he looks pretty good for an Old Fart. Must be those Winter tomatoes and the young beach scenery.
